FOLDING LED CLUSTER LIGHT KITS

A VIDEO DEMONSTRATING A SINGLE LED CLUSTER LIGHT IN A LARGE HUB SHANTY IS BELOW.

THESE KITS ARE DESIGNED TO BE MOUNTED IN MUCH SMALLER SPACES THAN OUR LIGHT BAR KITS. AND THEY CAN ALSO BE PUT UP AND TAKEN DOWN EVEN QUICKER THAN OUR LIGHT BAR KITS SO THIS MAKES THEM PERFECT FOR HUB SHANTIES.

THESE CLUSTER LIGHTS CAN ALSO BE CONNECTED TO AND BE USED IN COMBINATION WITH OUR LIGHT BARS

CUSTOMERS WITH EXISTING LIGHT BAR KITS SEE BELOW.

IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT POWER SOURCES SEE BELOW.

12V Power Sources

If you are using a 12V power source such as a sealed lead acid or lithium battery, or a 12V power box, then up to 3 Cluster Light can be powered together either in series or in parallel.  To run them in parallel so that you can conveniently spread the lights apart in your hub from a common center point, you need to use our 1 x 3 Power Splitter Cord.  A pictorial example of how to do this is shown here.

USB Power Source

If you are using a USB power source, you can only power 1 Cluster Light at a time due to design limitations in our USB power cord circuit.  DO NOT power more than 1 Cluster Light when powering our Cluster Light by USB.

CUSTOMERS WITH EXISTING LIGHT BAR KITS

If you have an existing light bar kit WITH NO MORE THAN 2 LIGHT BARS and you are powering your kit with a 12V power source such as a sealed lead acid or lithium battery, or a 12V power box,  then you can add ONE additional Cluster Light to your kit in series with the interconnect cord that is supplied with the Add-On LED Cluster Light Kit.  To run them in parallel so that you can conveniently spread the lights apart in your hub from a common center point, you will need to use our 1 x 3 Power Splitter Cord.

WARNINGS

Do NOT power more than ONE Cluster Light at a time with our USB power cord.  Exceeding ONE Cluster Light connected together will overload the current carrying capacity of the USB power converter circuit and may result in injury to you or damage to your equipment.  It is normal for the USB connector (and sometimes your power bank) to become slightly warm during operation.  It is also normal for the USB power plug to have a slight buzz to it depending on the battery USB's output circuit design.  Some power banks are absolutely quiet while others are not.

Do NOT exceed 3 Cluster Lights connected together in series or in parallel when using a 12V power supply.  Exceeding 3 Cluster Lights connected together when using a 12V power supply will overload the current carrying capacity of the power wires and may result in injury to you or damage to your equipment

Do NOT exceed ONE Cluster Lights connected together in series or in parallel with TWO LIGHT BARS when using a 12V power supply.  Exceeding this combination of ONE Cluster Light with TWO light bars will overload the current carrying capacity of the power wires and may result in injury to you or damage to your equipment
